PUNXATAWNY PHIL and his Vermont associates have spoken:
WINTER IS HERE FOR AT LEAST SIX MORE WEEKS!
Enjoy a break in our terrific little town, with food, drink, art and entertainment all contained in a few very walkable blocks.
(Our winter rates are the lowest of the year/end in February, and you can bag even more of a bargain when you book both rooms.)
Love the outdoors? There are plenty of outdoor activities in or very near to town, including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice skating and winter hiking.
We even have our own little in-town hill with tow-rope for learning to ski, snowboard or for sledding.
Take a soul-soothing walk along the West River or snowshoe/cross-country ski on the trails at the Brattleboro Outing Club.
Fancy a sleigh ride? Wild Carrot Farm has them on Saturdays this month as part of the Brattleboro Winter Carnival.
Not sure what you’d like to try? Send us a message and some hints and we’ll tell you where to look.
Need a bit of warmth and solitude? Stay in! Your cozy quarters include a small but well-stocked library and the breakfast room doubles as a apace to play board games, watch movies, read, draw, knit or write. Need some company but not in the mood for humans? Kitten Watson adores guests and loves to play (and, if she’s in the mood, mature kitty Piper has been known to keep quiet company on the sofa).
You’d love to stay, but can’t make it this month? Book your future visit (or buy Gift Certificates) this month.
We’re donating 10% of all DIRECT bookings taken (regardless of date) and gift cert sales in February to local organizations supporting immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
