April Showers bring May flowers….and surprises!

Suddenly it’s Spring. 

On the home front, Pat’s arm is better every day. She’ll be back at the library this week, although only subbing while she tries things out. We made it through some tricky weeks, and now the only negative is our severely depleted bank account. We are therefore making an EMERGENCY APPEAL for our supporters to buy Gift Certificates to help us get on top of things.

Each $200 certificate is good for one night on any available date (including weekends and holidays) year ’round, so you could save a nice chunk of money if you’re planning on coming in high season! (No need to book until you’re ready. Just give us the gift certificate details when you call.)

As a bonus incentive, anyone buying certificates from now until the end of April will receive a surprise in May. (We’ll be adding some nifty new items to our shop in the next few weeks, including cards and T-shirts. All March/April gift cert purchasers will be asked to choose something for free once all items are up on the Shop page.)

In other mews, we’re changing things up a little bit regarding social media. We’ll soon be using our Instagram page to showcase the One Cat and events and businesses around town, while all political and social justice news and thoughts will be on our Bluesky account. As we transition you can expect the usual blend of cats goofiness and rants.
